About Us

JESSICA QUINTANA | State Director

Jessica is a proud Southern California native who embraced the charm of the Midwest after meeting her husband 23 years ago. Since then, she’s made Southwest Michigan her home, raising a family and staying actively involved in her community.

Professionally, Jessica is a trained therapist who has always answered the calling to social service in the field of child welfare. She currently serves as the Director and Chief Administrative Officer of Foster Care, Adoptions, and Licensing for a domestic child welfare and placement agency. With many years of hands-on experience, Jessica remains deeply committed to protecting and empowering vulnerable children and families—a mission that continues to fuel her passion and heart for service.

Pageantry, for Jessica, is more than a shared interest with her daughter—and four sons who also enjoy participating —it’s a meaningful source of joy, confidence, and connection. While her work is centered on advocacy and care, pageantry provides a creative outlet for personal growth, leadership, and community building.

It is with great pride and excitement that Jessica introduces the Miss Michigan Volunteer Pageant, the Official State Preliminary to the Miss Volunteer America and Miss Teen Volunteer America Pageants.

Bringing this empowering, scholarship-based platform to Michigan is truly a dream come true. Through this system, Jessica is honored to help young women across the state grow in service, scholarship, success, style, and sisterhood.

TRISHELLE LONGO DWYER | Board Chair

Trishelle Dwyer is a dance teacher and pageant coach based in Phoenix, Arizona. With over 40 years of experience in the pageant world, she has worn many hats as a contestant, coach, and judge. In her early twenties, Trishelle competed twice in the Miss Arizona USA Pageant, earning impressive finishes as fourth place and first runner-up. After her successful pageant career, Trishelle graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education.

Her coaching accolades span across local, state, and national levels, boasting winners in prestigious programs such as Cinderella Youth Development Program, AAG, UNM, NAM, and Miss Elementary, Jr. High,  Miss Arizona, Utah, and Nevada Teen, focusing on modeling, platform building, and interview prep.

A talented singer as well, Trishelle grew up performing alongside her father, the late Danny Long, a renowned jazz pianist and vocalist signed to Capitol Records. She began singing with him at the age of 10, cherishing their time together until his passing in 2022.

Naturally, Trishelle's lifelong love for the arts blossomed. As a former company member of Tempe Dance Academy, her passion for dance evolved into a teaching career that has spanned over two decades. She is currently the Youth Development Director and teacher at South Mountain Performing Arts in Laveen, Arizona. "Miss Trish" has developed a reputation as an instructor with the unique ability of using dance to help young people develop their whole selves, while instilling a love for the art form.

Trishelle has been happily married to her husband, Rick, for 32 years, and together they are proud parents of three wonderful adult children. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, watching any football game, and dedicating her energy to Lighthouse for Hope, an Arizona nonprofit supporting children with cancer, in honor of our son who is a childhood cancer survivor.

Erin Quigg | Social Media Manager

At just 21, Erin is already a force—a psychiatric nurse, seasoned competitor, digital creative, and passionate advocate based in Kalamazoo, MI.

Originally from Union, MI, she brings a small-town heart with big-stage confidence. With 14 years of experience in the show-horse world and 10 years competing in pageants, Erin knows exactly what it takes to command attention, carry grace, and shine under pressure. She is also the founder of “Be an Upstander,” her anti-bullying initiative dedicated to empowering young people to lead with kindness and courage.

However, Erin’s sparkle extends far beyond the stage. As a content creator, she has a natural gift for crafting eye-catching visuals, telling compelling stories, and elevating every platform she touches. She understands trends, engages authentically, and knows how to make an impact in all the right ways.

We are thrilled to have Erin as our Social Media Manager, where her creativity, compassion, and signature glam will help bring Michigan Volunteer to life online!
